Maua Boutique began as a vision — young women dreaming of a florist that would not only bring beauty to the world but also create meaningful training and employment opportunities for young women from refugee and migrant backgrounds. A space where they could connect, express their creativity, and build confidence as they flourish in their new lives in Australia.
As it blossomed, Maua Boutique evolved beyond flowers, curating a collection of beautiful gifts infused with scents inspired by the four corners of the world. Each candle, bouquet, and handcrafted piece carries a story—of resilience, culture, and the power of new beginnings. At Maua Boutique, our young women didn’t just want to build a business—they wanted to create a movement of giving back. Having walked the path of starting over in a new country, they saw the isolation many women in their communities faced and wanted to bridge the gaps between generations, cultures, and experiences.
That’s why they created our impact model - for every 10 gifts or bouquets sold, a woman in need receives a place in one of our creative workshops—whether it’s candle making, flower arranging, or perfume creating. These workshops aren’t just about crafting something beautiful; they’re about creating moments of connection, a sense of belonging, and a chance for women to find their feet in their new lives in Australia.
